Welcome to the official website of the Omicron Chapter of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc.!
I am Ninti N. Alfred, and I have the honor of serving as President for the 2024-2025 sorority year. Our chapter is a vibrant collective of women from diverse industries, professional backgrounds, and stages of life united in our shared mission and sisterhood.
Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc., established on June 1, 1929, in Chicago, IL, is the first African American business and professional sorority. Our chapter, Omicron, was chartered in New York City in 1935, and since then, we have proudly served the community with dedication, friendship, and love.
As we approach our centennial, we are energized by the opportunities ahead, both as a chapter and as a sisterhood. We invite you to explore our upcoming events, open scholarships and more throughout this website
